1. Don't enter you e-mail address unless you trust the website owner.
2. Don't have your e-mail client automatically open your e-mails. (Preview pane)
3. Ensure when participating in online discussions such as forums, that the webmaster has taken precautions to protect your e-mail address. They may do this by showing a graphic representation of your address.
4. Use catch all e-mail only when necessary.
5. Don't reply to spam e-mails. Especially don't attempt to unsubscribe.
6. Use a spam filter - please contact us if your website is hosted with us. We can install a very effective server side e-mail filter called TrustedMail.
7. Don't participate in e-mail chains and advise others not to include you.
8. Use a contact form rather than a plain e-mail address on your website, when possible. Or use a graphic representation of your e-mail address.
